Who’s To Say?

article image placeholderUploaded by @FryedOreo
A person can do right all of their life only to be wrong. And a person who is once perceived as wrong perhaps could have been right all along. The mystery of morality, of judgment. Who is right in this situation, given the context? Or does it matter who's wrong or right? For we don't really know anything at all. Now, I know this gets into realms of theology and the Christians will come here and they'll have their say

I am right and wrong about mostly everything. How about you?

It's really interesting. I don't really know where to stand on this subject of who's right and who's wrong. I just feel like everything is super subjective. We have a lot of subjective truths and beliefs that only apply to us sometimes. It only applies to our social circle sometimes. So it definitely depends

Thank you @Dee94

I guess one who commits murder then is one who should be put to death. But in essence, what is being achieved here by doing that? And I guess that's the capital punishment and all that sort of whole different discussion. And that's not where I want to go veer off into. But I do think about our existence even being here. I guess we can get existential to what is the purpose of being here

Yes, you are so welcome. I just think it's funny. Like all the people who have, like, philosophy minds, they just go down rabbit hole after rabbit hole of what if and how comes and it's just fun. It's definitely fun. I think one day you can be right and the next day you can be wrong. Things like that happen all the time. Laws can change. You were probably right about it yesterday and now you're wrong about it

Thinking thoughts I thunk. @Dee94

But I misspoke unprotected sex. So you have the kid, and the government will provide your resources. If you were to file child support on the father, it's all for the child's well being, as they say, but it can go different ways. Suddenly, this has become extremely political. D*** you, d*** you. But how can you avoid it?

I feel like it comes to a crossroads more than a n road. So, yeah, thanks for this train of thoughts. Thanks for making me think about it. And I hope you have a good rest of the weekend

Hey Fred, I completely agree with you and yes, we don't need to bring religion into this. There's a whole psychology behind it. Our feelings, our emotions and sometimes our surroundings to influence our actions. Even if somebody is committing a crime at that time, it feels just right to them. I think we really need to put down these rights and wrongs barriers because we are nobody to decide someone's rights and wrongs

I do what is right for me. I try not to judge. I am a Christian, and I try not to shut back down people's throat. I feel like it's a very, very personal choice, and I want to leave that up to each person. I don't want to be one of those Christians that make people feel uncomfortable and bad about themselves. I want to be alone, light, and lift people up as much and as often as I can

Hey everyone, I loved this topic. You know, in my life, there is no right or wrong or good or bad because there are both two sides of the same in coin. Without right, there's no wrong. And without wrong, there's no right or good or bad. So I don't know anything. The more I think I do, the less I know. And I also think it's not really relevant

Some thoughts

Yeah. The older I get, the more I feel different about right and wrong in the eyes of society and also within the perception of myself. And I don't really feel a need as much to advocate what side I am on half of the time. And it seems as though so much people are caught up in voicing their say that we sometimes can stumble over the initial onset situation that occurred and just paying vigilance to that. And does everything require judgment of right or wrong?
