What’s your Reputation here on Swell?

article image placeholderReputation
Reputation is very important on a social audio community platform, such as. Well, there are people I can imagine that want nothing to do with me regardless of what I talk about, because because they just don't see me as a good person. This is the nature of being in a community. At times. Some people just won't like you for their own reasons, and it won't matter what you do. They will never divulge that information

Does reputation even matter? #selfawarness #reputation

I wanna add a photo... How do I do that? Tech these days. NOT intuitive ;(

Okay, Dewuan de Wanderful Dewuan, if that is your real name, I'll bite. What is my reputation to you? Because I hear you talking about me on the side of your neck as though I don't know you're talking about me. When you're talking about A and B can only mean me, because that's the first letter of my first name. But it could be A because that was the art contentious one
@SeekingPlumb

🤔 @Wuandurful

It's not something I really think about. But upon reflection, like I could see if I had a negative reputation, there being value in knowing that and understanding that so I can learn and grow from it, like you said. And if there's a good reputation, then there's a responsibility there. And so I think it's important to know that as well

(Adding a photo. @Brooke415 )

Hey Brooke, so you can only add a photo to the original Swell, not the ones underneath. And it's in the same screen where you write the title of the Swell, the description, etc. At the very bottom you'll see a little green round button with a camera in it. If you click that button, then it'll lead you through the process of adding a Photo

@SeekingPlumb

I'll go looking for it right now, and I'll be sure to be happily letting you know if it works, because I don't think I've seen that button because I know what you're talking about when you write the description. That's where I would usually do an ad to the link. But then if there's a button with other camera that sounds good and it's not there, then it's not there. But hopefully it will be. Thank you so much for the reply

The swell ninja @Brooke415

So I thought that was very interesting in regards to that, I would never thought they really cared what I had posted prior. So, yeah, it's just interesting how that can all work out, but, yeah, I would like to hear your thoughts back on this if you do have the time. Thank you for participating in the conversation

Star Sweller @SeekingPlumb

With that being said, I must admit, this is something I struggle with on social audio platforms in particular is when I am faced with situations, as you were saying, where you try to be tactful and be very careful in how you choose your words. I try to go with that honest emotion that I feel right away, and sometimes that emotion can be true in that moment. But it does not mean that it is true for the duration of my time here on Earth
@SeekingPlumb

Thank you, @Wuandurful. 🙏🏻

Duan, thank you. Your words really mean a lot. No. I think it's really important that people hear the emotion in our voices, particularly when we've been coming from other platforms where that intimacy of the human voice is not present. And so we come here and, you know, hearing someone's voice, hearing the emotion that's there reminds us that we are human. So I think it's really important. But there's always this quote that sticks in the back of my mind

None of My Business

What other people think of me is none of my business. My aim in everything in life, including social audio, is to be authentic, to have integrity, to be generous, to have compassion, to maintain my boundaries, and to have a good time. And everything else is none of my business is my business to mind my business on my side of the fence. The rest is academic

Man, you got me on that one because I can't hide the way I talk the way I can when I write. I used to be on social media as a writer, and I can take up any narrative voice I want in the written form. Well, I have my natural writer's voice. It's basically like what it is. I'm always political and fired up on random political stuff

Swell Legend @GeorgieDee

Georgie D. Thank you for your response. And I appreciate that you didn't even need five minutes. You did that s*** in what, 32 seconds. And yeah, that's. That sounds like, you know, hey, you're not concerned with the reputation s***. Hold on, let's give you a real applause prompt to you. Thank you for responding to this. Well

Out in the world Swelling and shit! 😆 @Brooke415

Brooke correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that was the first, like, swell you did where you're just out and about in the day and s***. I'm hearing people in the background. You know, I don't usually your swells are really quiet. Well, what I meant by your speech is that it seems like you're thinking of a million ideas at a second. So you just have this rapid way of speaking. That's very unique to you
