What’s your personality type?

If you are listening to this, I want to tell you a couple of things. I want to ask you a question. But first I want to explain my name. Now that you see on your screen in XJ is based basically me declaring my love for MBTI and Typology. Okay, this is me now declaring to the world that this is the niche and direction I want to go in for the future. This is what gives me passion

I want to know about you, and here’s a few things about me to know. #mbti #personality

Basically I need to take the test again

I've taken a man. I can't. I've taken that test so many times, and I never I like it. I like the I like personality tests, including the Enneagram and stuff. I like that they help me understand myself and understand other people and how they relate to the world and relate to others and all that. I just can never remember what my result is. That stinking four Quadrant personality tests, and I swear I've gotten different answers at different times

INF(T)P 😆

As, you know, Dewuan, I am an INFP, but I do tend to sometimes lean heavily into the T. I almost wish that I could put, like, INF parenthesis TP. I mean, I'm sure I could, but I don't normally put the of letters out anywhere. Anyway. Like Chris, in the past, when I used to take the test, I came up with jumbled responses, and I couldn't figure out where do I fit?

Those letters only tell half of the story. @StunningNBrave

So when you took a test, you got this shadow type, then you took another one and you got your core type and you took another one and you got your type that you trying to ideally be, that you aspire to be, and then you got one type that is the inverted of you in an unhealthy state and what it could be

Introverted Feeling Vs Introverted Thinking. @SeekingPlumb

Christina, thank you for responding. And I've heard of this phenomena. I've had some friends of mine who take the test and say, actually, over the years I used to be an INF, but now I'm an INFJ because when you see the letters, it's like it's just one letter off. But these letters are actually in place for something a bit more complicated. So let's take you, for instance, right. You just see INFP

Thank you, @Inxj.

This is interesting. Dewuan, you've given me some things to think about. And I think I think a lot of what you've said is true, but I need some more time to process it and think on it. Thank you

And as long as we're not trying to put people into a box and be like, oh, I INTJ. Therefore, you only do things this way, and we're just doing it to be like, okay, INTJ. So that means you're probably going to approach the situation this way, and that helps me understand you better. I think that's where it's useful. I did the Enneagram. I mentioned that I did the Enneagram

Personality test can serve as a healthy way of improving yourself @

It was like, oh, this is what religious people feel. It was like powerful reading back stuff to me that ways in which how I was growing up and not understanding why I was the way I was in particular with the intro version and stuff a lot of that growing up with that realizing that, oh, it's something to attach with this. So that's what I try to share with others, to give them that experience in finding something out about themselves that maybe they didn't know

3 with a 4 wing

I really like the perspective of using the Myersbriggs test as a tool for personal growth. I've always kind of looked at it as more like, okay, let's kind of use it to loosen if we categorize ourselves or others so that we understand the way they work and how to relate to them. And there's some growth involved in that, I suppose, just in adapting to other personality types, understanding yourself better. That's fine

That’s dope @StunningNBrave

But yes, one thing I forgot to mention was that also I noticed with MBTI was that it let me know in some ways why I was cool with some people and potentially why I wasn't. Now it's not to say all the time that you are going to be compatible with this certain type or not, but for me anyway, some of it was like spot on. I was like, oh, wait, it kind of makes sense

@Inxj I’m digging swell

I'm like, Wait, which app is this? And then I opened it up and I'm like, I'll give it a try. I'm really digging it because the conversations are great. The interactions are great and seems for whatever reason, it's geared more towards thinkers than those hot, take oriented tweets
