Do you Swell outside?

So folks started looking like, I'm curious, how many of you use Swell outside, or is it only indoors and no one knows that you use it? This is a question I've asked on other platforms similar to Swell, but I'm just curious. Do you use Swell outside? If not, why? If so, why? I guess we all have our different reasons

What’s too taboo for you? #socialaudio

I'm big on outside swells. Heavy winds.

I remember when you were first on swell and you were at the playground with your kids, and it just reminded me of the days of me sitting at the playground for hours on end, waiting for my daughter to get finished, and it just brought back great memories and the one that you just recorded just now, at some point, there's a person talking in the background that I can't tell what exactly he's talking about, but it's different, and it just kind of made me laugh a little bit

I remember when we used to see people take selfies and we thought that it was the most hilarious thing in the entire world that looked so silly. Here we are years later, and it's like a habit that all of us basically do. Well, I don't know about you, but I'm assuming you probably do, because pretty much everyone I know does or even things like filming videos in public

A badge of authenticity @Phil 😆

But for me, I just kind of like, I'm not really caring to hear you start your day with sounds. Maybe like, let's say, 30 seconds, but like, four or five minutes of that. No, that's why I don't like live chat, like live streaming when people go live on Cam. I'm like, why am I just watching this person sit down and talk? Like, what does that say about my life?

On the go Audio Flow @CaliGooner

So when my Crackhead Park segments would come on, a lot of people would be excited because that was when I really turned up the volume because I was recording on the park bench, standing on the park bench, walking back and forth as if I was on other stage, and my voice was as loud as if I was on other stage. So I really made a good show of it, and it kind of let me realize I was more of a performer

Personality can influence audio styles. @MerelyHuman

Sorry it took me forever and a day to get back, but just a lot of stuff happening, and I got tired of stuff. But anyway, thanks for responding to the swell

Which do you prefer @Joylove 🤔

And I just found that boring. And I guess I just prefer the method of swell a lot better now that I've taken my time with. Well, I've only used that app Audible. It was called like Radio, or I can't remember what it was called. To be honest, for the life of me, I can't remember what it's called, but I don't know if it has longevity, sustainability to it. It seems like a very flash in the Pan experience

Sorry about the voice!

So I'd much rather respond and have conversations with people in a secluded, quiet kind of place where I'm able to gather my thoughts and put them across in a crisp and concise manner. And you really must excuse me for my voice been kind of under the weather over the past few days, so that probably explains why I sound so sloppy

Get well soon. @NamelessJournal

So I guess it's not as bad as you may think, but maybe you suffer from that perfectionist sort of mindset to a certain degree, which is probably why you need it indoors. The carrying on going on tangents. Yeah, that can be troublesome. It can be troublesome. And I tend to notice some people who can get in that sort of mindset, especially if they need to do multiple posts to respond to something that probably only takes one recording. But no, it's all good

@Dewuan

And as any other writer, I revised my writing draft, and I've noticed that I replicate the behavior on Swell, so I record and rerecord a couple of times to get some of my swells straight before I post them

@MerelyHuman

I'm feeling quite better already, but I really appreciate you looking out for me and asking after my health. Thank you so much for your time. Thoughtful words. And yeah, I'll see you around also. Bye
