What do Swell Notifications say about you?

It's kind of counterproductive. It's like not only did you follow this person and you can now see their stuff on your timeline, we're going to make sure it's in their notifications as well, but I guess some people out there maybe don't look at notice. I think there's something more psychologically behind it

@RatherSwell OFF

I had to turn them all off. I think they are helpful. When you look at the manual notifications for people who are following, you get to see when they're talking deep in the comments. String of other things you might have missed or not be interested in. I know back in Anchor One I was always interested in if I liked everything Colin Flynn posted. I'd really like the stuff he commented on, but it was hard to find comments by the people you followed unless you use them

I already had them turned off on the phone itself, and I set them to low now, just so stuff that it pertains to me, not in a look at me narcissistic way, just that the people I follow, the conversations I'm already involved in and stuff like that. I do scroll the latest all the time in that category. So I do know when there's new threads now as the platform grows and there's a lot more people on here

Batter Woes @topgold

Those are the only things that really were integral to me. Whereas if I wanted to see my followers, I would just go through my timeline. I can see what everybody is saying there, but I do remember, Bernie, you did this one time, and it infuriated me at the time. But now it's silly that I was mad about it. You came on a post. I was talking about something like, rather serious

#notifications #iphone

Yeah, it's a bit overkill on the notifications. It's a little bit too much for my phone. I have an older iphone and the battery life is just not there. So I turned off notification locations for almost everything that seemed to help a little bit and then just look up things when I feel the need to. But swell is definitely one that had to be turned off

Reporting live from Windytown! 😆 @AverageJoe

I know how much it gets to, and unfortunately, sometimes what it takes to get to a really maximum number. And unfortunately, we're going to need some social influencers in here. We're going to need more if it hasn't been enough, we're going to need bad Barbie. Danielle Pegalli, we're going to need those types to drive the numbers up through the roof and be crazy. But anyhow, it is crazy. Windy out here

Old phones, new perspectives. @PoeticMess

What's wrong with telling me which phone it is? How old are we talking here? Are we talking iphone five s? God, Lee, I remember those days. I love my iphone five s. Oh, you're smart, frugal. I can imagine with your money probably got more in the bank right now than me after you pay rent and bills and utilities. Whereas I, on the other hand, I'm ready to hoard myself out in terms of podcasting

Rather swell. Okay, well, I appreciate the response. And yeah, you had it dead on when you said that. I only check my notifications when I want to. So that's why I have them off. But yeah, I have an iphone seven, and I mean, it's strong enough for my call of Duty, so I don't have any lag and weak enough to fit my budget

iPhone 7 isn’t all that bad. @PoeticMess

Although your son is very harsh. Yeah, an iphone seven is some years back still functional by all means. Actually, my kids use my iphone seven at the house more as the WiFi device. And yeah, it still gets good mileage. But Muji, now what are you doing? It's my son. I damaged my seven, though. It got cracked screen and the screen got like clouding going on. So it's pretty much on his last leg
