Victor Bout became one of the world's most wanted men in his career as an international weapons dealer. He was dubbed the Merchant of Death in a 2007 biography, and he became notorious for his willingness to arm almost anybody, from militias and Sierra Leone to Charles Taylor's brutal Liberian regime to the Taliban. His life helped inspire the 2005 Hollywood film Lord of War, starring Nicholas Cage

Hey, Taylor, thank you for sharing with us a bit more information on Victor Bout and of Victor Bout, I should say pretty gloomy indeed. And I can imagine he's not planning on staying, stopping his business anytime soon. So I guess only faith can foretell what will become of that. And yeah, I'm still kind of like, wow, because it just seemed like all bets were off, especially when she got like, what was it, ten years or something like that

Big news indeed. And it seems like this is the only subject that people are talking about on social media channels. And I actually peered into a couple of those conversations and I have to tell you it is ugly. Very ugly. And also I didn't realize how many Americans are actually experts in geopolitical prisoners exchanges. It's amazing. But that was said sarcastically. Hopefully everybody caught that, but for me not. I'm an expert and I really don't know what to expect

Hey, Phil, thank you for taking the time not only to listen, but to also offer an audio response to this. Well, and yes, I wouldn't know the first thing about prison exchange and how that typically fares for their prospective nations, but yeah, it's causing all types of hoopla, as you mentioned. Like you said. Now everyone is an expert on who would have been a better choice in an exchange

@FryedOreo If you were her PR manager, what would you advise?

She is 32 years old. The WNBA season runs from May to September. So she has time to actually make this decision. I think she has time to get into shape if she wants to play. She is 32 years old. I think the oldest player that I can think of is Sue Bird. I think she played until she was 41. I think she has retired, but 40 is really pushing it

Other than what's been reported, which is minimal but he's been down for a minute, you know what I mean? That's the question. Do you trust in those authorities now? Obviously on just prisoner for prisoner? If you're looking at resumes of course it's not even close. It's ridiculous, you know what I mean? Unless somebody has some inside information maybe this dude is going to snitch on some people and they let him out, make some kind of deal with him

To have a comparable salary to their male counterparts in the NBA as WNBA players woefully are underpaid within comparison to how much the NBA players are paid. So, as a way to counter, they travel to Russia, they travel to other countries to play basketball there, where they can receive sometimes even more money than they do in the WNBA

Hello, Phil. R IP to the sewer pod. I don't know, man. I'm thinking about asking, could I get access to that particular area of that sewer since it's connected to the building, but I don't even think it's worth it, honestly. I have backup air pods. Yeah, rip. They served me well. Or it served me well as it was one AirPod. But anyway, as the manager, I would advise Brittany Griner to follow her heart

@FryedOreo Are we legitimizing behavior?

However, Britney, not Spears, Brittany Griner being more in the public eye enabled this to happen. And I think it does beg the question, are we legitimizing that? Are we sending the message of, hey, if you want to make a trade, arrest somebody that comes into your country. That's an alister. If I was an Alister celebrity right now, I'd be very careful about where I am visiting and especially following the laws in that country if I happen to visit

Has been taking great care of them by providing them these war of weapons, these war that are meant for destruction. The US. Sounds no different than the Merchant of Death. So these weapons are being used on the Palestines that have killed women and children and men, and the same goes both ways, right? So the Merchant of Death, I hear that they keep calling him he's evil. He's so evil

Oh, mega strange. Thank you for taking the time to not only listen to this swell, but to also offer an audio response. Brittney Griner Freed convo has sort of died down a tiny bit on the interwebs about this subject. But yes, she has been home now and she's probably chilling with wifey and I can imagine she's regalling her family with stories of her experience. The merchant of death
