How did Covid-19 impact your life?

That stimulus check, man, that couldn't have come at a better time. And I had just got my tax refund. Then I got that stimulus check. Then I got my security deposit all in the same, man. I was like, Where do you want to go to eat it's on me? Yeah, this has been a crazy. And I got back into dating. I started really getting to dating during COVID season. I was meeting girls during covet. That was the big question

Year of Work from Hell

And we've been so blessed with the way it's impacted us, like we've been impacted less than most people in the whole world. I would say so let me just say that I have survivor guilt in a way, because I feel so terrible for everybody else and what's happening to everyone else and to a large degree, I can't relate. Okay. But here's where it was really full on and stressful for me. So lucky to have a job

By the skin of my teeth

I forgot to mention also that because all the teachers were freaking out. Students were freaking out, and the teachers were freaking out. Everybody was mentally, psychologically, emotionally, super fragile. And that was it. I was carrying the emotional welfare and well being of an enormous Department. I'm talking the size of a school, and no one else was there. No one else was dealing with it. I was it. And I got through Juan. I managed it

Match making in COVID 😅

It's like, I really want the germs, and I'll probably sleep with him. And, oh, my God, it's covered. And I was like, Dude, look, I'm old. In my mind, I would be like, no, not sharing spit with somebody. I might get covert, but you're young. And you know what? When I was young, I took lots of risks, and I had sex all the time. So go for it, baby

Our very own Pandemic. @GeorgieDee

That human connection is important. Yeah. I guess that survivor's guilt is interesting, how it didn't really affect over there as much. It feels like it's going to be interesting when my kids go to school and think of all this but yeah, hope I'm glad you survived and you're enjoying life and things sound like they're back to normal over there? So props to you and I guess you'll be singing a lot more in stairwells soon me

Dark Joy @RatherSwell

It's the opposite of what some people would think that you could get distracted and be a bit lazy, blah, blah, blah. But I have the opposite. Like if I don't have segregation in my life with work and home, I just do too much work. And in those ten days, I ended up in chronic pain because my desk wasn't set up properly. I didn't have two screens because I work a lot with Excel spreadsheets and transferring data from one screen to another

The red eye conundrum 😅 @RatherSwell

Hey, the red eye thing. I had a boyfriend once. We're still friends. He's Anglo Indian and he has quite bloodshot eyes, naturally. But he was and probably still is a massive pot smoker. Massive gunJust smoker. So he get really upset because even when he wasn't stoned, everybody thought he was because his eyes were red. Speak Jody. His real name is Cliff, and we nicknamed him split

No Play Dates hurt https://bit.ly/snoplay

So the people reporting the numbers are thinking about reporting a five day moving average instead of up and down based on how the reports come in anyway. As a side note, I got less efficient when it came to email. I started cutting off connections with people. I shouldn't have done that. And then the biggest impact Code 19 had on our family concerned the ability of kids to hang out and play with their friends

Thank you for your stories! @GeorgieDee

And it's like they're just playing Devil's advocate just to play it. Some people get a rush out of that. I personally find it boring. And I don't know, I'm not comfortable believing in something I don't have enough information with. It's just kind of hard for me if I'm using sensationalized words to back up why I feel the way I do it would make me feel uncomfortable. Awkward, naturally. So I can't just say because of this if you ask

Paradoxes upon paradoxes! @topgold

If you cough on somebody with enough air droplets and they inhale it or their skin, they contract it. Yeah. You're going to get something. So it's weird. The panic and fear we had for AIDS is totally in the reverse for COVID, or at least with perception what it can be. And I think Internet in a lot of ways. You get to hear a lot of perspectives a little bit more than what you normally like. The news could control it back then

#healthcare #pandemic #notalone

I was told I didn't necessarily have the experience and I just have the personality where I will if I want something, I'm going to make it happen. And I had been wanting to do that for a very long time. I've always worked for the past. I would say ten years in the healthcare field, working in cancer care and Hospice, and I ended up becoming a healthcare liaison and director of marketing for a nursing home in Illinois, and it was a traveling job

And I tried to explain this to family and friends, and I wanted them to be prepared in the best way possible, and nobody wanted to talk about it. Even when I was working in the health care field and I tried to reach out to all of our hospitals and nursing homes within a 30 miles radius. Nobody wanted to talk about it

#stress #selfcare #bounceback

And at first people were trying to get through on the phone lines for anywhere from five to I would say 9 hours a day, sometimes completely unsuccessful, where they would try calling a month at a time every day and still couldn't get through. So I started this job working from home. I had two days of training, which consisted of just 4 hours each. So we really had gone in completely kind of like thrown to the Wolves, but we did the best damage control possible

Amazing story @Katey8472

And, yeah, working from home remotely. And it sounds like you're a social creature. An extrovert. I was already kind of figuring out what personality type you are. Something tells me that you love harmony from others and having the convo with people and the energy they give you the vibes. And you like to exchange those vibes. Sounds like you're that type of person. So, anyway, hope to hear from you soon. And don't be a stranger now. You hear

Your spirits sound high, and I don't think a pandemic or probably anything could probably bring that down. So grateful for people like you on this platform to chat with. Don't apologize about the dating thing that it didn't work out. It was actually a blessing in disguise. It wouldn't have worked out anyway, so it actually ended up being a silver lining during this pandemic

Oh you getting personal now huh? 👀 @Katey8472

Katie getting personal with me. Well, it just so happens that I am not a person who doesn't mind getting personal, so let's get to it. I was born and raised and I'm still still residing in Minnesota, so not too far away from you. And, yeah, the ghost town streets easy to traverse and commute. That's for surgeon. Congratulations. With your dating. I sort of had a similar situation
