Parting - Poetry/Song Lyrics 4/26/23

article image placeholderUploaded by @FromSilence
Parting you walked within the storm and sought some shelter there as any person would to hold off the despair the darkness kept you scared without the strength to fight so you clung through the wind onto the smallest light the clouds have parted now go dance in the sun bright skies ahead those fears are all done now free from all the rain with all this space to grow there's nothing to stop you just look at you go the clouds have parted now no need to look back you have your dreams there's nothing you lack the path ahead is clear there's daylight everywhere a future filled with joy and flowers in your hair the clouds have parted now go dance in the sun bright skies ahead head, those fears are all done the clouds have parted now go dance in the sun

Hello and thank you very much for the kind comment. I very much appreciate it. You're coming into this a little bit late, which I know you're fairly new to swell here. But part of the thing is, this month I am doing a challenge to myself in which I am posting an original and unshared piece of poetry every single day since it's National Poetry Month th and I'm not normally this prolific

I have a beautiful, amazing life coach that has told me that the word like should don't even include that in the vocabulary because should and suppose those things are very limiting, and they kind of like, stifle your progress and the process. So from one artist to another, from one poet to another, let it do what it do. I know you have a goal for what you're putting out and kind of like immortalizing your own swell to be dynamic and that you have some more positive poetry

And the times that you do see poetry that's about me and poetry that contains anger. The only reason it got out there is because I don't stop that creative process if it comes out. Especially if it comes out. Whole which there are definitely circumstances in which things just 30 line poem presents itself on my drive to work and I'm using talk to text to have it all written out and then later in the day I fix everything and add punctuation and stuff like that
