Six years ago, I started a new job. A few months after I started management, hired a couple of new employees. I was so eager to have other physical therapists to build with and collaborate with. But that's not exactly how things happened. Somehow I didn't fit in with this new crew of staff members. They all seemed to develop this connection with one another, and I was left on the outskirts. Over time, it became clear that I was intentionally outcasted

And you'll move into the next story and have a way bigger perspective on the meaning of things and look at what you did and look at where you are. It's a beautiful lesson. It's when you're in a space like that because you just feel crushed and we're all people needing love and needing reinforcement and to be able to have the strength to know that you don't need to belong to people that are ostracizing you, that you belong to a higher power

I'm glad that my story was able to touch you. That is really all I can ask for as I share these stories that somebody is blessed by it and it will help them give them courage in their journey. And this journey of connecting to myself is such a lengthy one. I still have so far to go, and I'm learning to trust the process
