Drowing in plain sight- see reply for part 2

article image placeholderUploaded by @Find_My_Voice
When I was about 14 years old, I went to a water park in Toronto. It was a really bright and sunny day. We enjoyed waterslide after waterslide. We soaked in the Lazy river as the current led us around in circles. Close to the end of our time there, a bunch of us headed to the wave pool. It was the most crowded attraction in the whole park. There were people everywhere. The wave pool started out very shallow, like the shore on a gentle beach

Part 2 of drowing in plain sight

Thanks so much for listening. This is part two. Essentially what I wanted to say is that I've been trying to work on my public speaking voice. And one of the things that I do a lot more frequently than public speaking is writing. And I find that my words are able to flow with ease when I can write them out and edit and read it over and kind of fix it until it's perfect

So I just wanted to just say how much you inspired me just now. And also, that story is incredible, and the way you told it is incredible. I hope that you are feeling what you're feeling fully, because you said you're kind of doing this in a really open way, and you're taking us on your journey, and it's just amazing. So thank you so, so much

I don't know where he is in life right now, praying that all is well. But that story even rereading it. I think I first wrote that story three or four years ago and I am glad that I reread it. It's a reminder for me too

Nonetheless, you bring up a really good point and a really great call to action with me being an introvert. There are many times I can recall observing dynamic situations, climates and people that others have missed, including those who are close to that person, because I'm observing in its full entirety and I'm able to point out those subtle shifts and changes that others might overlook. I also can resonate with this because I too was overlooked in this way as a survivor of domestic violence

So thank you. I'm going to continue to explore and play around with speaking off the cuff, which I've listened to some of your replies, responses, some of your swells, and I know that you excel at speaking off off the cup. So I'm definitely listening and taking notes from you. I've enjoyed the things that I've heard so far and just going to continue this journey and yeah, find my voice. As the title of my swell says, find my voice

Thank you for this little story, this beautiful story. It just reminds us about simple things that make the world go around that are not that simple. Empathy and feeling and caring. And I just really think that the reminder is always, always important. Thank you. And that story and your bravery was really phenomenal. Else
