My favorite childhood books

As I got older, I moved on to chapter books. More words, less pictures. The series that stands out in my mind is The Borrowers by Mary Norton. This is a story about miniature humanlike creatures called Borrowers, specifically the Clock family. They live under the grandfather clock at Mrs. Mays house. Arietti and her parents, Humiliate and Pod borrow items from the human beings, which is what they call people. The story has been made into a movie several times. You should check out the books

Books, childrens books, love of reading, pokey little puppy

I haven't thought about the bars in so long. Where's my mother? Oh, my God. You're just taking me down memory lane. Oh, my God. I had to go to when I was younger. It was the box car. Kids. Box Car kids and Nancy Drew Mysteries. Of course, those are just at my fingertips because they all involved, like problem solving and kids doing stuff together and young people being smarter than older people

And then the first Harry Potter book, I remember my father would read it to me when I was going to bed, and that was way above my reading level at the time, but nonetheless, I love the story. So I became fascinated with books, but I didn't dedicate much time to them. Later in life, though, I definitely made up for it

Hey, good morning. It's j l oh, my goodness. This swell sparked so many warm and fuzzy feelings. And also a realization. My most favorite book from childhood. I have several, and I'll do a span similar to you have, because I was actually thinking of a span as you were going, and then you got into your middle and teen years, and I was like, yes. I was thinking of the same

Hey. I'm so glad you got a kick out of the name feeling, Shellfish. It just came to me one day. I also grew up in nature. I should start to swell about those memories. I also loved Dr. Seuss books. I do have a suggestion for you to read since you like Nature my Family and Other Animals by Gerald Durrell. I think you'll really love it. Thanks a lot
