SPEAK UP!!

article image placeholderUploaded by @Enfinit
And I'm not trying to be mean, but if you're going to podcast, you better podcast like it was your last day and you're trying to get that word out to an audience that could save your life, okay? Because this is podcasting. You want to sound clear, audible, you want to get your point across. You want to be heard right, so speak up. Speak right into that f****** mic. Open your mouth, Enunciate

Swellcasters please listen

Hey, I hear you loud and clear. Thank you for the message. I hope people really grow into their voice. Here with your addiction, with your volume. Knowing how to use dynamics to make things happen really big and then maybe a little more intensity closer to the mic, like this. It's fun. It's fun to experiment. But, yeah, when you can't hear somebody, that's a frustration. So thanks for the clear call to action

Yeah. So, like, despite the curse words, I like the message that you bring to this. We as podcasters, we we need to be able to be loud. We need to be able to be heard and be understood so people can understand where we're coming from, where our point of view is coming from, and how they can relate to it, speak up on it, or whatever else. But I thank you for sharing your thoughts on being able to speak up

Don’t trust your Bluetooth earbuds’ mic!

Yeah. When on Swell, when I hear someone talking so quiet, I know they have not gone back to listen to their own recording. So hey, Swell users, preview what you've just recorded. Listen to it. And if it doesn't doesn't sound loud enough, do it over. Secondly, hey, Swell users, your bluetooth headset. The microphone is crap. Don't use it. And why am I saying this? Because that's how I found out

And when you are saying, speak up for your podcast and act as if you're not going to live tomorrow, that creates a certain level of urgency not only in just speaking loud, but also speaking with purpose and intention, as opposed to fiddling around the idea and kind of just say it. And I hear a lot of that on swell

I thought it was ironic that I recorded this on some AirPods and hear the crackling of the AirPods. I left it like that, heard it, and I was like, no, I'm going to keep it like that. And I hope somebody hears it on here

So, yeah, it can be a lot of things. But, yeah, I can see why something like that would be frustrating for me. I'm not really that great of a speaker. So I think if I do more of this, this can help me speak more fluently. Some people are good at speaking fluently, right? They don't stutter. They're not thinking too much about what they're going to say. They have good pronunciation
