First day back in St. Louis after spending the holidays with my family. Does your mindset change when going back home?

I'm back in St. Louis, and today was my first day of classes for the spring semester after being home for the past month on winter vacation. And every time I go home, I notice that I have a different mentality or a different mindset compared to when I'm back at school all the time by myself, with my own apartment. And it's not a lack of independence when I get home or an increase of independence when I come back, but it feels more like a change in comfort

Hey, Emma, thanks for sharing this. I definitely remember when I was in college experiencing that comfort that you're talking about when I go home. And, I mean, who doesn't feel more comfortable when they're back in their hometown or back with their family and friends?
