How we doing people I've never seen the lights of heaven oh but I bet they're bright Never really been and around the world But I've heard it's nice what causes one man's pain Would be another surprise Nothing really comes for free all the abnormal obsessions of possessions they only bring a bigger trend of hatred and all that pointless tragedy Just take a look around we're fading fast oh we need to see Although the streets aren't paved in gold we can still make peace Just because our lives are torn that don't mean defeat we can put it all together after they tear it all down I'd give it all away It'd take away the pain The Halo around our heads I see they're rusting through as we ask for our forgiveness yet we hide inside the truth It's just a simply question that I'm going to ask you do you think that we could be so pathetic that we can't see our own downfalls as you can't expect a change without having withdrawals you can look up towards the Sky Look deep down inside your soul but if you don't we're never going to break these chains Although the streets are not paved in gold we can still make peace Just because our lives seem torn It doesn't mean defeat we can put it back together after they tear it all down I'd give it all away just to take away the pain Forever rested Name of the band My band two man band I play the drums been learning how to play guitar after my buddy passed he woke me up for four years now we seem distant I'm not just talking about me or him yeah, I understand what you're seeing
