Are you environmentally-minded? And what about "fracking" an important topic in the coming USA presidential election?

article image placeholderFacts About Fracking
I'm just very dubious suspicious of fracking in my country, Switzerland. We don't have that feature proceeding. We have dams bringing us quite a lot of electricity, but it has been quite proven that fracking is bad for the environment. But it has given the United States a certain independence in energy production. That's why all the negative effects, negative impacts on the environment are erased or blinded or diminished. People don't want to know about it because it just brings what you need

All countries need to stop depending on the Middle East for oil. Now the United States, given the large, it's almost a continent in size. Right? So given its large land area, the amount of energy needed to sustain its population and to sustain all the different industries over here is quite significant. So my own balancing out these two. My own hope will be that the US is able to invest in clean energy sources

Regulations + state controls should protect the environment, shouldn't they?

Certainly there in a kind of a contradiction with the opinion of many American people who are against the state controlling companies and checking on them because they shouldn't go against the interests of the citizens. That's my conviction

This is an interesting article which was published in 2015 because in Britain they had the same problem, obviously five years ago to decide if they were going to invest into fracking or not

But if it was something that was so sensible to do, typically its adoption would be much higher. And so if it is not being adopted a lot, then I would question why and usually the answers have something to do with cost and something to do with efficiencies. When it comes to energy production. I'll be interested to know more. So I'll go do some research, but just thought I would put it out there

If Biden and Harris changed their stance on Fracking, it would not change how I voted. I voted against Trump, not for Biden. It just so happens that Biden is on the ticket opposite Trump. That said, though I'm not the target audience for his decision, I'm more left leaning. So I'd be happy if he decided to be against Fracking

Again, we have to incentivize creation of those cars and purchase of those cars and setting up biogas energy stations across the country. There's a lot of investment that needs to happen for it to be viable for the normal consumer. I think that all the energy sources listed in your article are a great starting point for all governments to consider. And I hope the government has the will when the new government comes in
