Our Introduction

Hey guys, I'm Jules, I'm Christine, and we're from the Travel blog. Don't forget to move the number one resource for adventure travel and sustainable tourism and information and advice. For the last ten years, we've travel all over the world and had some awesome adventures from climbing ancient rock ruins in South America, to volunteering with typhoon survivors in the Philippines, from hitchhiking through Central America and motorcycle road tripping through Bali to breaking into abandoned UFO in Bulgaria and bear watching in Estonia

Hey everyone! We’re Jules and Christine from the travel blog Don’t Forget To Move. We’d love to hear from you!

Looking forward to hearing more!

Hey, jewels and Christine really excited to have you here. I love learning about travel and travel hacks anything that can make my journey a little bit easier. I've said it a few times on Swell here that once this whole thing is over, one of the things I really want to do is travel with my girlfriend and go to some places that we've always really dreamed of going. But for one reason or another, I've never been able to go

Travel

Hey Taylor, thanks so much from you reply it's great to connect with other travel lovers here on Swell and it's awesome that you're able to do a big Eastern Europe trip. We're also really looking forward to when we can start traveling again. After all this craziness is over. Where are you and your girlfriend hoping to go

Well, there's a couple places on the agenda as of right now going to go visit my brother and my nieces and nephew over in the UK and probably do a little hopping around close to the UK is maybe some Paris. She's a huge Disney lover. So I think that we're going to probably end up there and then also Tokyo and other parts of Japan sometime in the next year or two. That's the one that I'm really planning for

The new normal ...

Oh, I love that we're talking about travel. We're also desperate to get out of here, wherever here is. I think I've been an avid travel, and I try to do a trip every two years. I know that sounds crazy, but usually I need to take, like, three to four weeks off, and then I just really do the trip. And my last trip was I guess it was June. I went to Croatia, and it was so amazing

The future of travel

And I think there's going to be a lot of overlap with sustainable tourism as well, and how countries decide to limit the amount of people visiting these destinations and then obviously working to keep things clean and sanitary. So I do think that is going to be something that people look for when they're choosing new destinations and something we'll definitely be advising our readers about as well

Places that feel like home!

I don't know why it's just a city that ever since the first time I visited it in my early twentys, I felt this really intense connection with it for some reason. And I'm curious if either or both of you have a place like like that where maybe you can't even fully describe it. But you just feel a sense of home when you're there, even though it's not where you grew up or where you live throughout most of the year

Bali is home ❤️

Thanks, guys, for the new contributions. Always great to hear from you. Places that feel like home. I feel like over the years, Christine and I have developed a few places that have felt like home. I'd say in the last couple of years, those places have been Bali, Australia, and San Francisco. We're both from, respectively. But Bali has definitely been one of those places that we've called home for three to four months out of the year
