Are Red Flag Movies Really A Thing?

article image placeholderUploaded by @Dominique
I can't say I agree with this assessment or disagree because I have not seen Fight Club. That's another pop culture blind spot of mines that I have never watched by club. I will one day, but I just have not seen it yet. What I will say is that I find it really weird that some people are making snap judgments of other people just on their taste in movies alone

Twitter does love a controversy

I would say Taxi Driver and Pulp Fiction or two others discussed is that they are frequent College dorm room poster movies, and that says something about the person living in the dorm room, that they would hang up the poster in their room. And I think that there can sometimes be kinds of people who gravitate towards certain movies. And certainly I think that that can sometimes indicate a kind of person who that person might be friends with or certain things about them

I don't really have an issue with you liking one thing or another as long as you're not hurting somebody else. And I try to sort of carry that with me everywhere I go as somebody who's been picked on for my taste in music or my taste in film. I try not to extend that to other folks, but in the case of my ten year old friend bringing over Clockwork Orange and being John Malkovich, that was definitely a bit of a red flag
