There's always a lot of talk about teenagers being played by 20 year old actors who don't look like teenagers. And a lot of people are sick of this, and I myself am included in that. I understand why it happens, though, because you can't just cast teenagers and teenage roles. They are minors, and they can't work for that long on set. And so they cast 20 year old actors instead

But there is a barrier in that it also does set on healthy beauty standards because kids aren't supposed to look like adults. And yeah, especially if it's like a bio pic or something impactful. It is a show like Riverdale West comedy and jokes. I don't think the act of passing as a teenager is like, that big of a deal. I don't like it or deal, by the way. I'm just saying, because that's kind of an infamous example of broadcasting

The first thing that comes to mind because I know that you posted on Gilmore Girls is Kiko Adena, who was, I think, in her 20s when they were filming the first few seasons of Gilmore Girls, and she could totally pull it off. And she still can pull it off as looking worry's age, even though she's I can't remember how many years, but several years older. But yeah, this is a really interesting post
