JUMANJI (PEACOCK)

article image placeholderUploaded by @docsaico
It's not goofy cutesy kids scary. It's f****** scary. There are large monkeys throwing knives. There are giant mosquitoes that break through the windshield of a car. There's f****** plants that want to eat you and Monsoons and Van Pelt. And like, everything in this f****** movie is scary still. And the acting is phenomenal

Today, let’s talk about Jumanji.

But they just want to make a sequel for the heck of it. And there are very few sequels that are actually good, very rare. It's very rare that you see a sequel, for example, Men in Black or maybe Godfather or stuff like that. So, yeah, I think such movies are iconic and just like Titanic or Scarface, Jaws, and you have Et

I think it's very special to feel like you're walking through where the movie happened. I've done that with filming locations. From Amelie, I went to school near filming locations. From The Exorcist, I went to filming locations for The Ring, which is my favorite horror film. And have I been to any others? Let me think. That's all I can think of at the moment

I mean, I'd literally watch it and it would end and I'd start it again, especially on long drives when I used to go visit my grandpa, we had a little VCR player in the car. And that was one of the movies that I just insisted on watching and watching and watching. There are so many amazing things that could be said about it, but talking about it as a horror movies I do think is actually warranted, especially for younger people

And you know what, you and Taylor here who has also left me a reply commenting on the new Jumanji, I really was not going to watch it. I've actually turned down a few opportunities to do so with my parents. But both of you have said that essentially disregarding the Jumanji part. It's a good movie, that it's funny and I think you've convinced me. I'll at least give it a shot

It was not visible from the road, but there was like this collapsed fence along the road that was not really being a fence anymore. But it's like you knew what it was supposed to be doing. And I was so pumped up to see this site. This would have been sort of the crown jewel of the sites that we saw while we were there. But at least we got to drive by the farmhouse that Samara's family lived in. So that one was pretty cool to see too
