What makes your heart sing?
What is it that makes you forget to eat? What is it that makes you sip joy from the day of life? Is it a person? Is it a hobby? Is it a passion? Is it a job? Is it a place? I invite you to sit in that moment, sit in this swell cast here and allow yourself a couple of seconds. Have just suspended bliss. Allow it all to just kind of swirl around you and then chime in. Let us know
Families don't get to do that often. And unfortunately, a lot of families are dysfunctional, so far away from each other, so far from reality, that for me, it's just that moment. Time stops when we're all together. Like, it literally is a leap into some other world with my family because so much has happened between us and the disagree. To disagree I hate you. To this family is toxic

And I went on my duck float but went down this river and it was the 3 hours and it was just the most peaceful serenity that I haven't experienced in a long time on that kind of level. And just being by the water makes my heart sing. So I would say that that's is definitely where I feel most at peace
At least that's the visual journey your words took me on. Whether that's super close to accurate truth or not, it's still fun to be able to experience the visuals of something like that just by hearing one to two minutes share on your experience. That's what I love so much about this place, is the ability to connect and feel with one another from various places around the world. That's awesome. Water so healing

I fall with that one too, but I'm going to rise up right now and say, no, that was the negative. The whole thing is when I fall from that, I pick myself up and I go somewhere else and I get back into that head sage and get back into that feeling of enlightenment and joy and blessings. So thank you so much for this. Oh, my gosh, this is beautiful

Hey. I love this question. And I think love is the answer to your question. I think love makes my heart sing. Love sets my heart on fire. And a lot of love from the person you love is life is what makes my soul the happiest

Now my partner of 21 years decides that he wants something better. So maybe in all aspects, it's not his fault that he chose. He wants something better. It's because that light is gone. I mean, I honestly can't find anything that would bring me that joy. Or as I sit here thinking about it very good thought. I'll have to dwell on that little bit. Thanks

When you can remember a story or see something and it just makes you laugh. And that does it for me. I think as recently as last night, there's a comedian, I think a Sean King, and he was showing these little clips or reels, and he was commenting on it

Some have stayed, some have gone. But the process of knowing them and getting into that intimacy of self and other it's like other looks into you. And it's like I like that word intimacy because it looks like it sounds like into me. See? Right. It's like they're seeing into you and you're seeing into them. But there's no real fusion. It's impossible to fuse to another human being. So that just sets me on fire

Honestly, according to me, my mom is the most precious, precious person in my life. I don't know if I would what Rap done without her. Her presence just sitting next to me just makes me feel so good. Like, it makes me feel like somebody at least cares for me, right? So in the selfish world, there is someone who truly, truly will never leave you. And just staying with her gives me that feeling and it's just what warmth my heart
I believe that there's too many things in life that feel so random but yet are so connected. I just think that that's something far more powerful than we'll ever know as humans and we'll ever understand in our lives as they are right now. There's beauty in nature. There's beauty in numbers, in music, vibration. There's a lot there's a lot to live for. And that's not just my antidepressants talking. Anyhow, great question. It's very thought provoking
I think for me, the closest thing is seeing my children smile. There's so many things that give me gratification. So I'm a college professor. I'm a writer. I'm a voice actor. I'm an editor, I'm a husband. But, man, watching my kids smile and have a good time, there's not a lot that comes even close to that. Just like every three months, got a couple of new comic books that come out

I love going to the park or Edgewater Park and hearing the sounds of the ocean, especially when the waves, the winds and the waves are pretty high. And then the sounds of the ocean. Really, it's one of my favorite songs ever. It's so peaceful and I just sit there and I be alone in my thoughts and nothing else exists. No one else exists inside of there. Thank you for that
And my sister and my mother, they have tremendous amount of melanin in their skin, so they tan very well, whereas I didn't have the patience to sit on the beach, so I would always be on the boardwalk. But long story short, it's ironic how years later then as I got older, I yearned for the water, for the shore, for the beach. It provides me personally a sense of serenity, peacefulness. And I just mentioned this on another swellcast

I said, ah, shawna, that can't be it. Your heart's got to sing on a one know, like walking in the forest and being with family and all of that. So I did a second go at it and I'm posting a picture here of my son this summer. I go to my fishmonger on the docks and I get fresh fish. As fresh as you can know. That's what the locals say. And this year they had sharks in a tank there
