our patriarchal society - why we should care and change

article image placeholderUploaded by @diyasabs
Why we that's designed to benefit men by teaching us that they are stronger than their opinions, hold more weight and that they should be more dominant and that they are more capable of holding power. And we know that these ideas hurt people who aren't men. But patriarchy kind of sucks for men, too. So men are hurt by their own dedication to toxic and unhealthy ideals of masculinity

let's break the 'norm'

Patriarchy on my Pov

First of all, Hi, who is listening to this and thank you to the author who had created this table of discussion about patriarchy. So when I was like 13 years old, I came to know about the patriarchy and the concept of patriarchal society. It was discussed by my guru, who is sahiradeem and he was talking about this patriarchy and the myths. Our our, our, our, our patriarchal society

Thanks for the reference, but just those two things. I just did not to understand how science is against women, but I'll try and find out more about that. I guess

Patriarchy is just a fancy name of survival of the fittest

Such an example, as in the community of Lions, the Alpha male gets huge amounts amount of women lives in the animals. And it also happened in the history of humans. If you watch the history of Mormons and ancient civilization, they still have 30, 50 wives for them. Because of what? Because they are at the peak. They are the leader. They are at the peak at the basis of survival of the fittest. They are the leader of the patriarchal society

Conclusion

So what was my motive to make a big statement in your post? Because I just wanted to tell you that if you are making an argument against the patriarchy, then you just have to tell him the facts which is morally valid, not valid by the science. You will not find anything valid by the science when you are coming from the site of patriarchy because patriarchy is supported by the science and survival of the fittest. That is why there is no strong argument against the patriarchy at the basis of science

a Shamans bridging effort.

When you get a group of people that become elitist and perpetuate exclusivism, they create clubs. They create prerequisites to be part of their group. And it just so happens that patriarchy is a group that the prerequisite is you got to have an outer genitalia and you got to have muscles and you got to look a certain kind of way. It's a boys club. Right. So when we're talking about these things, let's please consider that this is not set in stone

Deconstruct to construct self 🦋

And this is something that I talk about a lot. And I see this amongst my culture. This is something that has spread out worldwide patriarchy, and it is affecting many of us and how we uphold relationships, how we want to build compassion, we talk about peace and love. But what does it really mean if underneath it, we still have these biased approaches to how we should talk to others or in community

You can call me out

But there was a law for tackling this. But nowadays it has become a weapon of pseudo feminists to just blame men's for their rudeness and muscularity. Yes, it is. You can take it as an example. Katie Miller, who was second wave feminist. She used to write in her book that patriarchy is created by the society just to blame patriarchy. And just to her opponents at that field, you have mentioned the name of Aristotle and Plato

Knock knock

And brothers and sisters. I just wanted to clear myself here that whatever I'm saying in my audio clips is just I'm speaking on behalf of science, not on my morality, my ethics. So don't go serious. And there is a big language barrier for mine because I'm not English. And that is why I can't express everything which I want to express. And that is why I'm not able to argue my narration properly. So please cooperate and thank you for listening

Uncle Mouse means Technoscience, I think is the name of it. But the author's name is Donna Haroway, and she deals with feminism, posthumanism and science, in which I think she does make the claim that, yes, science does support or maintain patriarchal values in its use. Right. So when we talk about objectivity, that's a very patriarchal understanding that we're trying to find the essence of things and that there is an order of things

And what you begin to see is what's been hiding, that we plug in these values, and we use science to get our points across. And if we're unaware of that, then we do tend to lose or the argument doesn't work because we're using male patriarchal values. So I wanted to say that it's hard to bring your case when you have to use the same arguments and values of the patriarchal system

Welcome & Thank u for joining @rafaelr3

Welcome, Dr. Reyes. And thank you for accepting the invite. Incredible, swell response. Wow. You said it's. What you didn't say. Didn't need to be said. Thank you for bringing us to this space. This wisdom also giving us the opportunity to reconsider those other two theologians, their names you dropped for further private research. I love that. Thank you so much. Really, truly honored
