Why Gendering Products Is A Problem
Hi, swell. I thought I'd talk about another social thing today, which kind of has a little bit to do with mental health, if you look at it deeply, I don't know. Everything has something like everything has or something to do with mental health. But today I thought I talked about why gendering products is a problem. So first, what is gendered marketing? Gendered marketing is this marketing strategy that divides consumers based on their gender by tailoring products to follow and uphold gender stereotypes

And I feel like it's actually on the surface, that's really lovely providing these gifts. But actually I think the side by side view of the difference between gifts and the functionality of those gifts for Mother's Day, as opposed to Father's Day is really quite alarming in terms of still that old view of men should be able to relax and chill. And women should be learning to Cook and learning to do more gardening to provide for their families
