The 'Pick-Me' Girl: TikTok Trend

article image placeholderUploaded by @diyasabs
But the ideology that girl has been in her head is so wrong, because if you're saying I'm not like other girls in a superior way, then you're insinuating that girls in general, I don't know the exact word, but are not as good as you or that femininity or that girls are like a certain way, a certain stereotypical way, and you're above that all. And that's annoying. That's so annoying

Let me know what you think!

Dia. Wow. This is such a timeless topic. I'm not familiar with the trends in TikTok, but I do know that we all need to link arms and walk together. I know that sounds totally corny, but when someone runs ahead of the other and looks back and disassociates and pits one heart against another, there's nothing that comes out of that. That's good. I don't think it's a question of how old a person is

I didn't say anything, but a few months later there was another parent who commented on her saying she looks really dark and she looks really bad and she didn't have anyone else to go and cry this too about. So she came to me. And since me being a good friend, I just lend her my shoulder to cry on. But inside my mind I always felt, yeah, meet my friend Karma. But I really hated that
