gender stereotypes and norms don't really exist!

But yeah, there are some really weird traditional gender stereotypes. Like, men should be aggressive and independent and active and dominant and decisive and tough and not nurturing and barely cries and stuff like that, and less sensitive to other people's feelings. And women should be submissive and dependent and passive, home oriented, gentle, indecisive, kind, emotional crisis, really emotional. Okay. And stuff like that. And also clothing and stuff. A lot of people shame people online, especially guys wearing skirts

what i'm saying is it's all a social construct and shouldn't matter anymore. humans made stuff up so we don't have to follow any of this :)

Yes, the back at it with the facts. I agree with you 100%. And I feel like it's so crazy how our society has already begun shaping everyone's identities the second they're born through years of categorization and labeling based on traits and expected behaviors. And that is kind of messed up. And I feel like these predetermined groups are already crafted so we can be pigeonholed into them. And it's high time we changed that

I think there's still lots of judgments made about who we are because of maybe the gender or the perceived gender that people make assumptions about because of our Gentles and things like that, which is what it kind of comes down to really. But definitely I think we are starting to have these conversations and hopefully one day we'll have less of this whole gender stereotyping and that more and more people wake up such as yourself to the fact that gender is definitely social construct and doesn't define who we are
