I don't know, it was just a trend, but people started misusing it as this person who's a white supremacist who calls the cops from black people. When you make these words mean violence, you are trivializing said violence. You are not taking the violence seriously. And even worse, when you're arguing with someone on the Internet, you're trivializing someone's suffering to win an argument which is wrong. Simple, silly internet buffer should not be skewed to mean violence
