Have you ever noticed that step brothers and sisters or stepdads and step moms always have an antagonist type of role in most movies, TV shows, and books. Somehow they're always portrayed as the villains of the story. There always seems to be a stigma of a cruel stepmother who mistreats the nonbiological daughter while she spoils her bloodrelated children.
