Have you even had a childhood if you haven’t had stitches?!

My lip landed on the corner of the marble tiled staircase. And the next thing I know, there's a pool of blood all around me. Honestly, it didn't hurt, but the amount of blood was crazy. I remember I was trying to gather all of this blood and somehow try to get rid of it so that my family doesn't find out. After a few minutes my parents were calling my name and asking why it's taking so long

Sure I got a ton of stares and people acted differently but hey I remembered to keep my head up high and you should too! #champ #fighter #embarassing

We’ve all been there, yes!

Oh, that's such a visual story. Like I was on those marble stairs. I saw the red. I saw you sitting alone on that table at that table, away from the other students. It's amazing how you navigate that memory so beautifully and share it with us. And it's so applicable. It's so timeless. And we all have moments when we're just feeling completely stitched in Pardes and in pieces and different. And we do have this. We do have this

Fun story!

Hi. Thank you so much for sharing the story, so I don't know. It made my heart warm up or whatever it was. It was sweet. And okay. You're probably thinking, like, what's sweet about me bleeding, but don't know, like, childhood stories are always great. I love that. I love your storytelling style. First off, and Secondly, I'm a kid like I'm 14, and I had my first two months ago

Nice to hear from another Diya!

And you're 14. That's awesome. Yeah. Actually, I don't know. Personally, I'm more of a person that actually believes the fact that if you haven't gotten any stitches or serious injuries as a kid, you haven't lived childhood love, like go out there. And I'm not saying to get hurt and stuff, but yeah, actually, I am saying go out there, get hurt, live your childhood because that's part of life

@diyapatel264

Once I was playing basketball, I got an injury, and I scraped the entire left side of my face, and the recovery process was pretty nasty. It looked weird, and I could feel people stare at me, and I wasn't excluded or anything. But I could feel everybody stared at me, and I saw people stare at me, and I felt so insecure and self conscious. But I wish I could go and tell my little self that it's completely okay

Thank you @DBPardes

Exactly. And I'm so happy that you receive that message so well. And also, thank you. I love that you like the way I storytell. And I really like this sort of personal action anecdote that I add to myself. I think it makes it more personal and more, I don't know, somehow special for me. So I'm really happy that you liked it

Absolutely @theertha

I actually have 13 stitches on the top corner of the right side of my forehead. And maybe I'll make a swell on that as well. And, yeah, that's so cool. And I'm so happy that you could relate to it
