Should beauty products get cancelled in India?!

article image placeholderUploaded by @diyapatel264
However, on a more serious note, many beauty products in India are rooted with terrible intentions from Fair and Lovely Skin Lightening Creams, which are rightfully criticized for promoting negative stereotypes around dark skin tones to unbelievably harmful chemicals in everyday makeup products like Eyeliners. On the other hand, there are tons of fantastic beauty brands out there in the Indian market too. A few examples that I've personally used include Ruby's, Organics, Mama, Earth and SoulTree

Hey, dear, Super Super happy that you addressed this. I completely agree with you, especially on the whole Fair and Lovely thing. I always had an issue with that. I mean, the fact that they promoted fairer skin tone to be prettier, I mean, and not just in the name itself, but but also in their advertisements where they would show how you would get more glowy whiter skin if you kept using product

Yes. 100% agreed. And yeah, I'm really happy that you spoke about the fact that beauty products and makeup products in India should focus on specifically dark skin tones, because that's the color of Indians, generally, like the majority of us, are Brown in color
