Children actually understand when you genuinely mean it. I feel like the toddler would have been a lot happier if she would have just had a genuine warm smile on her face and complimented him once like, oh, that was very sweet. And that would have made his day

And I was like, I realized when I was a kid, like, they are exaggerating. My little brain could realize how fake it was. And thank you so much for making me laugh. This well made my day. Oh, my God, how could you just, like, where do you even get this in your mind and put it into words? Oh, my God, this is something I totally relate to
