The last Derby prep of 2020 is upon us this afternoon. The the the the Los Alamitos Futurity Grade Los Alamitos Course in California. Now, this is a grade two race, so it is a little bit more than the springboard mile that we had last night. And this race, unlike the springboard mile, often gives you horses and Derby winners. Now, the horse doesn't necessarily have to win this race to be in the Derby. But a lot of Derby runners have come from this race

The the the the Los Alamitos Futurity grade. This year, we only have six horses going to post, three of which I really don't think have much of a chance to win this. We have a Louisiana bread. We have a California bread. The three, the great One, four Weston and five Positivity. All I think are running for 2nd, 3rd or fourth place

Yeah, he could do it once, but it could have been the track that he really liked, and he kind of got an easy lead. So horses get kind of a bigger heart when they get a nice easy lead. And they're just tougher to run down the four and five in this race we thought were going to be over matched, and they were. So there really wasn't anything much to talk about there. Richard Mandela had Petruccio. He was trying to back on the dirt again
