Sleep is not a luxury—-it is a necessity my friends

In fact, at this particular sleep laboratory, they only have two rooms. So it's only two patients at a time. It's not like a whole 1015 patients that they're monitoring. It's just two people. They only do two studies at a time. So that made me feel better. The nurse that did my sleep study was very, she's been doing this for about 20 years, so very well versed in it. She knew how to make you feel calm

You don't know if you're actually getting into deep sleep every night, how many times you're waking up. Even if you've got sleep apnea and you stop breathing, your body's not getting the right amount of oxygen. All these things we really don't know. You don't know until you get a sleep study. Even if you sleep with a partner, they may can tell you if you're snoring

And there's a storyline on there that talks about a doctor, a resident, that was working long hours and fell asleep behind the wheel, ended up hitting a family and killing one of the members of the family. And so sleep is very, very important. The lack of sleep can be deadly internally and externally. And I will say that when I went to the doctor and my blood pressure started to become a concern, one of the first things they said was, have you had a sleep study?

We're dealing with a very sleep deprived generation of people who are trying to put a band aid over it instead of addressing the root cause of those issues. And so instead of trying to use coffee as the thing that helps us stay perky for a few hours every day, just for us to experience that hard crash at the end of the day, why not just get to the root of why am I tired every day? Is it because I'm not going to sleep at night?

You're practically buying a new car just to take care of your teeth. And I take care of my teeth. I go to the dentist every six months, actually for the past three or four years. I go every four months because I had these issues with my gums. I have beautiful teeth. I have a beautiful smile. People have often asked me how long did I wear braces. I never worn braces

I like to lay down and do my crossword puzzles, the New York Times crossword puzzles, and a couple of their word games before I go to sleep. But I really need to probably shut down and go to sleep. One thing about me is that I learned from the sleep studies. I fall asleep very quick, and I knew that I don't toss and turn. I think with my sleep study, I fell asleep within, like, nine minutes

Didn't even know I had a cavity. They did x rays and they found a cavity. So I have a filling in one of my back molars on the bottom. And yeah, it's been quite the journey with me and teeth. But thank you, fellmax
