What’s in a name? Where did your name come from? What does your child(ren) names mean?

And so names are very important to me. And when I named my children, whenever I read attributes of those names, characteristics of those names, it is these two guys, spot on, spot on. And so it is very important to me what I name, name, children. It's very important what I speak about things in my life. If I call something good or bad, that's pretty much what it's going to be

Legacy carries through names

And my mom shared with me that for a long time there was an internal joke about who I would be named after. My grandmother had thoughts of sharing, passing along, like, names from our family down to me. And then my dad had thoughts as well. And my mom shared that. When I was born, my dad and my grandmother were out in the hall actually having an intense discussion. One would call it an argument about my name

And I guess maybe I had other notifications that pushed this one down to the end. So thank you so much for sharing. Esther. The story of Esther in the Bible is absolutely a beautiful story, and so to be made as such is certainly an honor. And I thank you again for replying

But I wonder, even when it comes to children or just the human experience, there's a belief system that we asked to come here, and it's not far fetched. As a Christian, they said Christ was in heaven and he came down. Hey, we probably could do the same thing, right? So I wonder, when it comes to names, even before we're born, do we have an influence on what we want to be named and why our parents choose a name?
