And they're talking over the news and all these different things. Like having my coffee first thing in the morning. Like, it's top tier. I'm a coffee connoisseur with my beans and different blends and all that. Also, I put bananas in my raisin bread. Crunch. Some of the things that. Those old cereals that we were like back in the day. Yeah, we eat those now. I like cutting my grass. Being on my ride more, for me, is therapeutic

I'm going to have lunch and then I will take a nap because I can. And trust me, I do this at the office sometimes, too. I go out to my car on a lunch break and I'll doze off for like, 20 minutes

I don't know if that's an old person thing, but I get excited about the things that I buy. I'm more excited about buying things for my house than just buying clothes. When I moved from my apartment to my husband, I realized I had a lot of just useless stuff. I'm talking about like, five shower curtains, just because I would see a nice shower curtain and want to swap it for different seasons and never did. So, yeah, that move was the one when I realized I am minimizing my life. And so, thankfully, I don't have a lot of single batteries and extra screws and things like that. I've gotten rid of them

Thanks, lady. Phil. Yeah, definitely don't let my air out. And definitely don't be letting my heat out, either. But I have never heard of as quieter than a mouse pissing on cotton. I have not heard that. I never even heard about busting a grape, either. So I have not heard those phrases. But, yeah, going out and every baby becomes your baby. That is some old Auntie Grandma type stuff right there
The broadcasters, the newscasters that were on there, the anchors would actually report information as how it happened. And so we felt more educated in terms of our world and the events that were shaping it. But today it's more like everybody wants to put out their opinion and it's just that, an opinion, it's not reporting the facts. Sometimes it's fabricating stories or giving us misinformation to provide an agenda. And that's not what I studied journalism

The posts that go viral on social media, people don't evelyn, read the head people, sorry, don't read beyond the headlines. And so I believe that they make the headline to be, I don't know, inflammatory for lack of a better word. They make the headline to obviously be attention grabbing, but instead of it grabbing your attention and then you actually open up the article. People are just doing whole think pieces and making crazy comments based on the headline

That's a great question. And I know that I'm not personally anywhere near middle aged. Some old people things that I do is I like to collect records, like vinyl records and cds. I guess that's kind of an old people thing to do. But I just really like. I'm very passionate about art and music, so I like to own the things I enjoy. Whereas most people nowadays, even older people, like to stream music

I was in Fye and they had record players. Like they had a lot of record players out on display. So maybe people are starting get back into that because they have the record players there. And I look for supplements and different exercises like deep breathing and tapping and all that stuff that help clear your mind, help take away stress, that maybe your memory will do better and then sometimes it's just not going to happen. It's a part of the journey. So remembrance, remembrance, remembrance. That's that old person thing that I do. Maybe it'll change and maybe it won't. Just a part of the journey be blessed
Okay, so to answer your question, I listen to records. I have a record player. The only unfortunate thing that really gets me is I have a contemporary record player. So I don't have a record. The old fashioned record players, where you're able to stack, like, three or four of them. And that really gets under my skin

So you can never trust what the container says, because there might be anything in there, and the only way that you're going to know is to take the lid off it. Might be food in there, might be knickknacks, might be arts and craft. Who knows? You're not going to know until you take the top off. And that's one old person thing that I do

It. This is going to sound kind of crazy, but the old person thing that I do is when I show that I have manners. Sadly, having manners is considered having old fashioned ways. I don't think it should be considered an old person thing or a new person thing. It should simply be something that you see in any period of time. But sadly, it's not.
