"It’s not me speaking—it’s GOD" That is soooo manipulative!😡

There's things that happen in all organizations, right? There's things that happen in families. There's stories that doctors and nurses tell and teachers and principals tell and they still go to work for that organization. I can talk about something that happens amongst Christians and still very much be a Bible believing Christ follower. So this is not a strike against the church. It's a conversation about what happens amongst church people. So again, let me know if you've experienced this

So you can win within an argument and conflict, or some type of lack of, I would say, concordance. Uhoh. If I had a Bible, I would have a concordance beside it, as in, I would know how we should all understand things together. Why is it that you're denying all of us the ability to understand things together? No fault, no foul

So being a Christian, we have our Bible, and so that's where we come to agreement. Right. And if you can't show it to me in the word, or if I haven't read it myself, then the idea that someone has this epiphany, wait, I think God is saying to you right now to do this. I mean, I understand that can happen at times, but I think people grossly misuse it for the purposes of manipulating somebody or I think it's God

Hey, Anngela. So I have. I'm gonna try to do this in. In five minutes, but I'm probably going to have to do this two in two parts just because of what I'm about to say. So I see this from both sides. Okay. So, as you know, I'm a PK. And so when I used to go to my dad about issues, my dad would always bring up God in the Bible. And I was like

So now, yeah, I'm going to give you what the Bible says and then you take it up with the Bible because we don't really have anything else left to talk about because at some point, people just want to vent and I'm not a garbage can. I'm not a garbage can. Some people just want to dump their problems on you and I'm not a garbage can

I forgot who it was now, but he was like, wow. And I was like, what happened? So he texted me because he couldn't talk because I think he was at work. And he texted me. He was like, I actually just started dating this girl. Her name is Sam. And I didn't tell you about her yet. So he was kind of like, whoa. And that's when I was like, I texted him back

Like, if somebody's complaining to me about not being able to pay their electric bill, and I tell them, well, you can call the company and ask for an extension. You can call the company and get arrangements, right? And then they come back to me like, oh, I need money for my light bill. And I say to them, well, did you call the light company? Ask for arrangements

But then the question also is, like, is the spirit of God really speaking to you or speaking through you whenever you go to people and say, like, God told me to do this or God said to do that. So that would be the real question. And again, what happens is people, they just take certain circumstances and they throw God into the equation and they know in their heart and in their mind that God had nothing to do with it

We all have different moments in time where we grow at the level that God tells us to grow. So for you to hover over me and tell me something, and then when I don't agree with you, you tell me to just go pray about it. No, you go pray about it. You go pray that God gives me what he needs to give me and therefore I know that you're covering me with the blood of Jesus by saying I'm going to pray

I'm proud of you, actually, because you were at a place where that woman in the church was like, God told me to give you this part and you was like, nah, he didn't tell me. And you walked away. That's the unexpected response because most times when people put God in it, they expect you to stop, drop and roll

And then secondly, this particular person, I know they don't have a pastor, and some people leave the church for all kinds of reasons. They're in between churches for all kinds of reasons. No judgment for me. But let me tell you something. If nobody could tell you nothing, then you certainly can't tell me nothing, right? Like, if you don't have nobody, and I said this before, I love that my pastor has a pastor

You need that pastor, your own church. You don't need to be here. You need to pass your own church and people will follow you. No, he did not say that because he definitely didn't tell me that. I'm just spreading the word. Where he told me to give and where it falls, it falls. I ain't trying to be no pastor, ain't trying to be nothing else. But I do hate that

And then I know several who lead it, and I know some who have found their own ways and their own understanding. And I'm one of those people who, I grew up a certain way, but I found my own ways and understanding, and I'm a very spiritual person. But at the same time, I do believe that people have the ability to believe and think what they want, and I don't pass judgment on it. It's for them. That's their journey

That's what makes him all knowing and ever present. This is my interpretation, and I'm not saying my interpretation has any more authority than anyone else's. This is my relationship with God. This is my relationship with the God inside of me

And so it's no wonder how we have progressed to a society where there are so many people that belittle, demean, manipulate, gaslight, love bomb, and then they attach to those tactics some level of guilt. Because this is a society that curates the narrative of being nice versus kind of not taking care of self and promoting other people above yourself versus taking care of yourself first. And so it makes it easier for these narratives to progress in society as a way to keep people under control

And the church that I started out at, we were taught that the pastor had the final authority. Not so much like, okay, that's the pastor's church. But even telling them no was akin to telling God no. And I shudder to think that that's how I once lived and how I once believed. And that is utterly disgusting, but that's what we were taught
