Silence, detox, vacation - what’s it all mean to you?

But like all things that are in this sort of ether of social digital, we're here and we're not here all the time, really. And I like playing around in my head with the idea of what a vacation is, because what are we vacating from? And if it's engagement, that's great, then go off and be on a rock and be on that rock. Communing and not in conversation
So for me, I feel like there needs to be a periodic time of just silence or break stepping away in the sense of maybe I won't produce public content that stimulates particular dialogue, but instead intentionally be open to listen to others and what they have to say. And then from there just be inspired, collect data and really hear what people are talking about, what they're concerned about and then make relevant, beautiful dialogues that can really help one another

You know, I realize I have experienced all three of these things on Swell, and they're they're even like daily, weekly and monthly. So I think the silence for me is daily many times where I just kind of like being the listener and I find some interesting stuff out there, but I don't really want to know that the person knows that I'm listening. So I'll just kind of listen not in a mood to interact in any way, and that's the silence. Okay

I'm in different places, so I need to post what's happening to me and my staycation or vacation or holiday plans on the various places where I've interacted with people. Not doing that leads to them thinking something's happened, something's wrong, and I don't like to induce stress. That's my long ramble hope you had a great time away. I need a trip to California and Portland, Oregon
I'll have a walk, Deborah, but just wanted to tell you before listening to the other replies that you ask the question. It seems to me about out duties when you speak about etiquette. And the other part seemed to be something along the lines. What do we need ourselves with our needs? When we are involved in the community, we have a vacation. So do we organize our mind to work differently? So do we organize that possibility of not being always involved in the same way
Isn't that part of our interests or structure? We are obsessed by just certain aspects. And perhaps we just want to formulate it better and to make sense of something for ourselves. And since there is no real conversation, we try to formulate it another way so that finally somebody reacts to it. So yes, being really creative and live is not that easy. Perhaps we are trapped by our own personality or personal structure. Mind structure. I would say so
