INCLUSIVE CAPITALISM- a Movement? Watch Video

article image placeholderIntroducing the Council for Inclusive Capitalism with the Vatican
And when you see talking heads, people who are CEOs of people like British Petroleum and bank of America, you have an immediate cynicism. They'll say anything to look good, anything to put forth an idea that people might think is progressive or forward thinking where they're Louding, the idea that this company is being led by somebody who's a visionary, blah, blah, blah. But there's something about this organization that I feel is different

I’m an optimist. In this video there are a lot of talking points. But I feel hopeful in the partnership model https://s.swell.life/SSIhuJiFrX6qLjw

@DBPardes 🧢💕I'm in a ranty mood today. Shared this on all my platforms ty

Deborah, you're speaking to my heart with this topic. I have not even listened to it yet, but I hear what you're saying. First of all, and I agree to an extent, but I'm so like I'm yanking and gang. I just heard about Donut economics. Secondhand. And then I watched a quick YouTube video with just reading the subtitles, and I said yes on board. I'm just like on board with everything that's economic transformation for the better

Hope this signals a more authentic attempt at tackling these crucial issues

And I really hope that the coming years result in an elevation in consciousness at large on a global level and what shape or form that might take will be interesting to observe. But some other issues that I had was and I see these CSR organizations and certain think tanks, especially Liberal think tanks. I find that they usually serve elite interests. So it gets dangerous when these organizations espouse serving the collective interests of everyone and then end up doing the opposite

Full transparency/ communication via Swell 😇 @sudha @arish @Karan.Dev

Give us some insight where it's not mitigated by the media, where someone doesn't have to write an article about it, where it's them talking to us, that's really a goal of mine is to have Swell become a real broadcast channel for the people, whether or not the people are on the top of the bottom of the perceived pyramid. So I guess I'd better get on that

@DBPardes that’s a great idea!

So whether you're the beneficiary of a policy or you are someone who's making the policy, which is intended for a larger audience. I think the breakdown in conversation. And if you look at how traditionally these types of things work, people just approach courts of law or you read them like you said, it's on articles or on other types of social media. I don't really think there is a lot of back and forth in terms of consulting

I once again find the tech sector to be remarkably in the forefront of such progress because it's been a sector that has been very good for people of all color, gender and others differences. So I strongly believe that HR models and teachings that have emerged in this sector over the last couple of Dbpardes need to be potentially productized and spread across other sectors in the economy as well. I may be off the Mark here, but just sharing in my thoughts

@sudha cautious hope 🌱

But I do think inclusivity is a buzzword these days, and I've done a lot of DNI work with corporations to look at not just diversity, but diversity of thought and what the difference is. But I had the same sort of gut about. I was impressed with the sort of the intention of the video in terms of putting it out there in the world, but that's where it ended. I just said that's a nice thing. But then I didn't understand

@sudha guessing they’re trying to fix what’s left of the system

Hey, Sudhamam, it's so nice to hear from you. I look forward to connecting with you soon. I just wanted to say that I agree with your points. And from my limited exposure to the tech sector, it seems like people do feel a bit more empowered, forward with the nature of work. And like you said, if employees feel like they have a stake in the success of the business, then there's a big chance that overall productivity and contentment will rise
