Creating a Culture By Suggestion

article image placeholderUploaded by @DBPardes
Hey, in the spirit of 2023 and beginnings, I wanted to do a swell on the concept of apprenticeship, or better known in some circles as getting a mentor or being a mentee. And it's an experiment. So I'm just creating this post to encourage anybody who wants to be a mentor or wants to be a mentee to add that hashtag to your profile to create a culture here on swell of people who are looking for something, to learn about something

This is a great, great idea. I'm going to add these m amp ms in my profile, I'll mentor people on anything related to book writing, specifically nonfiction books, also editing nonfiction books. And I will accept mentorship and advice on editing fiction, because that is something that I'm focused on learning at the moment. So, yes, this is going to make my job so much easier in terms of who I listen to and learn from and how and where and all of that

And I'm happy to mentor, especially anybody who is into health care in the United States and wants to do something in a startup space. This is one of my core areas. I'm happy to evaluate their business plans, happy to give my advice to them, look into their pitches, decks, if they have any investment plans or they want to raise funding, I'm happy to connect them to the investors

Hey as JL thank you, Deborah, for proposing this concept. You have amazing, amazing ideas. I am a fairly new woman in business. I started my business in November of 2021, and I'm pretty proud of myself of the progress I have made, and I am aware that I can continue to grow and scale. Hello. I'm still new right my business

But that happens. I love creating positive cultures, especially in the workplace, especially with mid level management and entry level. You get managers that are so green and they're not being mentored, and they don't know how to motivate and create a positive culture. That's why we get so many people jumping from job to job. But that's a whole other story. But for me right now, I want to focus on relationships

Thank you so much. And I think that this is such an awesome, amazing idea to have. We already are looking to people for advice and seeking their feedback and really just hoping that we learn. You know, I come on here and I learned something new and different every day. So I think that this is just really exciting and I can't wait to see how this grows. And again, I'm here for it all

And of course, that is a great idea and I would like to take part of it also just to share a little bit about myself. I can help anyone who is who needs me in the area of interpretation, because this is my element. And also know about diverse topic because I have this curious mind and I look forward to collaborate, to collaborating with anyone. Thanks for this initiative again, baby. Have a good day

It's been so great to hear all these responses, and I'm really excited about a zeitgeist moment I just had. I'm hopeful to bring on a Ted speaker. Who her name is Deborah Heiser, and sheth, among other things, is an aging specialist. But inside that expertise, she decided to start something called the Mentor Project, believing that the greatest resource this world has is, of course, human resources

But yeah, my work is to help others discover their passion, their calling, their vision, and lead them towards their most amplified and vibrant lives. So that's a little bit about what I do. My journey has been one of realizing that I was not content with the way things were, that I didn't want to go to another four to six years of schooling
