In celebration of Book Week

article image placeholderThe library book
Hey, I'm taking a quick technology fast this weekend since New Year's, but I'm hopping on swell for a second to thank Bowie and Sri, J and Ramya and Jim and Annie and bookish podcast for and celebrating Book week. It's been wonderful and it inspired me to read this book. So it's been sitting with me and now I'm going to read it. And thanks to you all for having a great week of book celebration

Susan Orlean! She’s ... swell!

Thanks Deb. And enjoy the book. Susan Orleans think she's great. I heard her read in San Francisco years ago and I'm really looking forward to hearing how this book, what the book is like and how much you enjoy it. And Happy BookWeek

#jennyoffill #newyorkermagazine #virginiawoolf #mrsdalloway #readers #write

I've just read a piece in The New Yorker by Jenny of Phil, who I don't know how to pronounce about a lifetime of lessons in Mrs. Dalloway. So I know some people might think The New Yorker, Virginia Wolf, been there, done that old news, but it's a fabulous piece for readers and for writers. So I really urge people, people to Google it and read it. It's glorious

I think this deserves its own conversation, but thank you for adding it here. And it's just so interesting because I tend not to read books again. But here I am faced with this opportunity because she really does posit that in the moment we're in, we're reading it as ourselves. Nas Nynn says, we don't see the world as it is. We see the world as we are, and that's true. So it makes sense to reread stuff
