#GiveATalk | How to Meditate With a Metal Rooster

article image placeholderUploaded by @DBPardes
If other thoughts come in, I push them away, and I just focus on the rooster. I get into that rooster really well. I imagine all angles of the rooster. I fly over it, I go under it. I imagine big, I imagine small. I'm just breathing into that. And I do this for as much time as I have to do it. It might be three minutes, it might be ten minutes

So that, as you said, when you concentrate on certain object, you don't get distracted by anything around you. Thank you so much, ma'am. It was really very nice hearing. Thank you so much once again

I have tried many, many guided meditations in person YouTube, but I have not tried the sound bath. How is it? Question mark? I'm intrigued. Exclamation point

Hey Jane. It's funny, when you spoke, you did the voice to text thing, adding question marks to your speaking. It was very cute. Sound bass are kind of cool. If you get in that headspace, it's fun

Well, I have to say, this has got to be one of the most lucid and super Zenlike statements I've ever heard about meditation. Just the title alone, how to meditate with a metal rooster, is so amazingly on point. So I commend you on that it really is, is about being right and fixing your concentration on one thing. In the case of the metal rooster, what an awesome practice you've developed there and how healthy and really dialed in you are with that

Like, when I do make that decision to sit for ten minutes and it's a long time, by the way, ten minutes, it it changes so much of my my demeanor and my everything. It's just great. I really believe in it, and I'm so happy. I'll be thinking about you. No, I won't be thinking about you. I'll be thinking about my metal rooster

I've just written, wrote. I just write, right? And it makes me feel happy. And I'm still in this apartment without the sunshine, and I've taken a lot of steps, but I've got to take more. I've got to start doing more for myself and my health. And I don't even know why I'm even saying all this, but I just wanted to respond to it just resonated with me. It did

Mark. We have sibling roosters. Or maybe they're cousins. Oh, my God. That is so cool. I just love that you got that picture in there. You just made my day. Thank you so much

It's awesome. Metal rooster meditation. Me, I like to meditate with one person in my mind that could guide me in my life, and that's Jesus. I like to pray to him when I'm indoors. So you're right putting the phone down from everything that's around and concentrating and talking. Meditation is using your mind or closing your mind and not listening to nothing but the sounds around you. Is that even possible when you meditate?

That's such a cool post and story about meditating with a metal rooster. I've never heard of anything like that. But you're right, we can meditate with any object. And I think you're so right that getting away from the device is absolutely crucial. We can use it to promote our well being, but it's also just another way of using it and being even more dependent on it. I just wanted to share an interesting story connected to this

You. Thank you for that. I did try to post and didn't go through my personal experience. My opinion for me is I need guided, maybe not need, but it helps me meditate get to the meditation state. And I use my phone, especially YouTube, for a guided meditation if I do not go to a studio or a place for the guided meditation
