Do you know your Neighbors?

article image placeholderUploaded by @DBPardes
And that was a couple of years ago, and today I'm thinking about my neighbors again in a different way. A lot of new people have moved in there's. Lots of kids. It's a really interesting neighborhood, actually, but I really don't take for granted that I like my neighbors

We’ve all got them! I am so grateful for mine I know that’s not always the case 😬

I was officially like I belonged in that house, and I was really a part of the community, a part of the neighborhood. And I was able to form bonds with my neighbors as an equal instead of a child, which I just think is kind of interesting. But I also think maybe it's my neighborhood in particular, but I feel like there isn't a huge community or expensive community in my area

Usually when I'm with my kids or something like that and the kids interact with them, that's when the words would occur. Other than that, no, I can't say for the most part, I pay attention too much to my neighbors. Anyway. Alice

No love between neighbors

So I've had a very difficult situation living with them because they don't respect me because I'm a single woman and they are constantly or they were at the beginning. Now things have kind of gotten better, but I had to go all kind of New York hood on them. You know what I mean? I refuse to allow them to overstep their boundaries with me because they really have no respect for me as a woman, just plain and simple

@LadyO

That's such a complicated thing, especially when it's a neighborhood and you're seeing each other every day. So your circumstances are so unique. And I'm just so grateful to understand it and learn more about it and just see it in this context in this conversation about we all come from such different places. And even when I was listening to Duan living in apartments, it's so much different

Your story gives me hope for humanity! @DBPardes

Hey, Deborah. Wow. That is that is incredible. And also what a like gift to just live around people who heard a cry, you know, of pain or for help and responded, I live in New York City, and I also live in an apartment building. I don't know my neighbors at all. There's one guy. He's actually pretty friendly, and he invited me to, like, a rooftop thing

@LadyO You are the real LOG, I.e. Lady Of Grace!

And I'm glad that things are getting more peaceful. And I feel you on the whole, just never mind that T situation, because that can get ultra complicated. But, yeah, you're a strong woman, even though sometimes you just want to be right. I appreciate you sharing your story
