Keeping Your Ringer ON : to sleep perchance to be woken ? Calls in the night…from those you love… a thought.

article image placeholderPick up pick up pick up !
You don't want that when you're sleeping, right? But back in the day, when there was house phones, the house phone rang in the middle of the night, and usually for a good reason, somebody needs you. But in a modern day times, what if people all have their phones off and you really need somebody, whether you live alone or you're traveling or you're in a situation where you just need that person in that moment, their phone's off

When the need arises I want to be there

Cell phone off landline on

Good morning, Deborah. I hope you're doing great. I am one of those people who turns the Ringer off. I'm a super light sleeper, so I do the do not disturb on my cell phone phone. But I do have a landline that is always on. It stays on and I don't have kids. But my mom, she also has a landline, and it's always on

@kimestryarts a comeback ?

But living in California, as I know you do when there's earthquakes and power grids go down, phone lines sometimes stay up. So maybe there's a comeback for the old phone

Hey, Deborah. Yeah, there's only one catch to the comeback. The Landlines are also using the same technology as other self cell phones. So I don't know. Is it really making a comeback? My Landline is not a true landline. It is a digital thing. So I don't know. Maybe we should consider bringing cell phones back for all the reasons that you said, I'm sorry. Landlines back, not cell phones
