Beneath this moon, the heat of the sun still radiates from the porch planks, warming my bones. Fireflies dance dreams of summer sweet memories winking, lights whispering follow me like a child playing connect the dots. I create new constellations in the star studded sky complete with creation myths that I sing to life. And you are there in my heart, in my bones. Your laughter echoing in the breeze cool against my skin

Thank you for taking the time to listen and to reply to this. I actually think bittersweet is a perfect word for the way I was feeling when I wrote this, so I'm glad you kind of tapped into that. Thank you

Greetings. Greetings. Just listen to your magnificent offering beneath this moon. And I must say, I enjoyed it from beginning to end. What one of your obvious gifts are is to marry visuals with the perfect word choice choices to give your listener a cinematic, almost immersive experience. I was totally captivated, definitely enveloped in the melancholy, the bittersweet aspect of those times when love was in hand, I guess, when your hearts were alight with that type of enduring and endearing connection that one never forgets

Hi. I loved this. I love the imagery. Raindrops glistening like diamonds, fireflies winking. Just beautiful. And something about the sentiment here so sweetly reminds me of EE. Cummings. I carry your heart ah. Just lovely. Thank you

Hi. Good morning, Janice. This is Stephen. Thank you for sharing this beautiful moon poem. I love the imagination. I love that it has nostalgia in it, but it's not cloying. The imagery is wonderful. And I also agree. I feel out the bitter sweet as well. Just a lovely poem. Thank you for sharing it

There is so much music in this piece, and it's a different side to you, it's a different side to your sentiment. There's something free and joyful, imaginative and playful and kind of true. I think this poem is like your inner child. I'm quite taken aback at how differently I experienced this piece and kind of smiling at the honor, really, of being having a peek into that side of your imagination and your feelings
