Moon Warnings

The moon tiptoes pregnant and round through a garden of stars. She whispers fiercely to young women already tipsy from dreaming dreams of love in the morning. No one remembers the moon's warnings

She is such a brilliant guiding light. And this one, I don't know, it was just kind of niggling at me. I'm glad that you liked it, and I'm glad that you're here. Thank you

You. Hi. Thank you so much for sharing this piece. I will agree with Trixie. I love poems about the moon as well. And the moon is definitely that female symbol, I think. So it's so evocative and powerful. I've never thought of the moon as pregnant. I quite like that, actually. And I think it's such a playful piece as well, which is fun

I meant don, Maria. Not Trixie or Pixie. I apologize for that error, but yeah. Thanks

You. I've listened to this a few times and just let my imagination run wild. What kind of images and stories are evoked? Even took me to my own youth. The kind of folly of wild nights, raucous and maybe a little bit deborched. Drunk on the moonlight and romance and feeling you can live forever in your prime. Meanwhile, the moon is quietly reminding us that those things don't last. I love how you can do that

Hi. I just wanted to say I really enjoyed your piece, the imagery of the pregnant moon and its warnings. It's beautiful up in the beautiful sky, in the garden of stars. But perhaps the moon could be a warning to those young women, and nobody does remember that until too late, if ever. So I really enjoyed this. And I do also enjoy, as others have said, moon imagery and stars and everything about the night sky. So I really enjoyed your piece

Hey. Good morning, Janice. This is Stephen. And thank you for inviting me and sharing this one. You know, it's right up right up my alley. It's one of the things I love about moon poetry, is different sides of it, and you're able to write about the other side, the moon's warnings. So thank you so much. All right, take care. Bye

You. Thank you for taking the time to listen to this and for your thoughts on it. You really got kind of where my brain was at or my feelings, my emotions. When I was writing this, I was thinking about the moon is always watching over us. And when we're young, we think we are so invincible and everything is going to go the way we think it's going to go. And we never quite hear the warnings that are given to us

@JacquelineEK

I don't know where they got the man and the moon from, because to me, it's always been a woman. And, yeah, this was a fun little piece, thinking about being young and invincible and having that moon watching over us. But we don't hear the warnings that maybe are being whispered to us. So I appreciate your feedback. Thank you so, so much

@MelodyJones

You. Hi, Melody. Thank you for listening in and really giving me some feedback and taking that time to do so. I appreciate that. I write a lot of very short poetry, so going to try and put some meaning in a few words, but I think the moon for a lot of us is just very magical. And I think of her of the moon as being very feminine, and I think of it as watching over us because it's always in the night sky

@MoonPoet

Hey, Steven. Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to read this and to respond to this. You will always be the moon poet for me, having heard your pieces. But, yeah, once again, I'm on the darker side, right? With the moon giving warnings. But I can't can't wait to hear more of your pieces
