Iran Threatens Sanctions

article image placeholderUploaded by @damonnomad
Tell me what your thoughts are about this article. Now mind you, this is Iran very controversial country, at least from the United States perspective. But also also consider what that would mean if more countries took this position. What do you think would happen

This is a country that is really bigoted in so many different ways ways that I've had to navigate my personal life. Being a Jewish Persian person, we're not exactly the most popular people. I don't feel safe traveling to that country and visiting where my dad grew up anytime soon. So yeah. I mean, it's like, you know, big talk coming from this person, but I just don't believe it. I just think maybe this person believes it

Thanks, Taylor. I really do appreciate your response, especially since you have identity associated with Iran, Persian and Jewish. There's a lot of targets on you, sir. Are I've always been interested? Not always. Recently. I've been interested in Iranian culture since I have a little bit very little ideas about what the culture was like pre the revolution versus after

But then also, they didn't have a lot in common because politically they had just become very different people. One grew up in a community that fostered the same sort of beliefs and ideas as the, quote, unquote old country. Then you had my dad who really stepped outside of his comfort zone and has two kids that grew up in the 90s in a big city, went to College, studied all sorts of different things

Iran doesn't care about black people.. 🤷🏾‍♀️

For example, we're not sending diplomats to the Beijing Winter Olympics because of the Uighur situation, which are the Muslims who are in China, who are said to be in these camps like these reformed camps to make them better Chinese. And they're saying this about their human rights. Well, you have black people dying at the hands of police, and Blacks have no human rights. So we have our own human rights abuse record yet. We want to tell other countries what to do with their people

Response George Floyd

And I'm not picking on them because I have white parents. I'm adopted by. How many other people do you see holding up a store or getting shot by police? Not very many lottery shootings I think are staged. The media is trying to prove a point. They're trying to do something. Police aren't the bad people. There are some cops that are bad. There are some cops that are brutal to a point

Cops are not a judge, jury, or executioner. PERIOD

The last time that I checked when someone commits a crime unless they are actively in the process of murdering somebody, the police are not allowed to kill you, period. They are not allowed to do it. We see the shooting that happened at Burlington earlier this week in which a 14 year old girl was killed in a dressing room. The officers stormed in while everything was under control. There were officers taking point

But it's much more the case than not that whatever ideas in the American has of a people whose story has yet to be truly told are mythical, that's what I contend is present. Regarding my response to you
