TV: Winners of the 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards

article image placeholderHere are the winners of the 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards
Unbelievable did not win for Best limited series because I thought it was absolutely incredible, along with shows like Insecure and what else is there? There was a lot that I realized I've seen and also a ton I still haven't seen, despite watching more TV and movies than I normally do since the Pandemic began. So I'm curious, are you an award show person? And if not, are you excited about any of the winners this year?

I thought it was a painfully boring show, and I came in and out constantly. So I think I missed a lot. But it's just we love live events, and we love the energy that creates is created between the people on stage, people off the stage. And it's very cyclical and very dynamic. And you don't have that when you record stuff. So I think it kind of suffered from that. But kudos to the Emmy producers for doing what they could

I don't listen to the radio. I have no idea what's going on in pop music. Like, you have to really do something to make your presence felt in my world before I know your name. I can't tell you how long it took for me to know who the h*** Lizzo was. So those award shows are out. I will still watch the Oscars because I watch a lot of films, but even then, I don't much care about who wins or loses

@AverageJoe Watchmen

Man, I really need to watch Men because so many people have said the exact same thing that you said, and several of my friends, too, that I wouldn't have even thought would have been interested in the show show. So I think I've been hesitant because the last watchman movie I saw, I was like, fine. I didn't love it. I just thought it was entertaining. It was okay. So I guess I'm curious. Why did you think it was?

And I'm sure you've heard by now because it was pretty huge and it actually somehow made people finally address this issue, the Tulsa Massacre. That is how the show begins. And it's just pretty fascinating. I'm not a big Damon Lindelof fan because I always feel that he doesn't know how to finish things that he starts properly. But he finished this well, and I respected his decision. Obviously, it was such a hit

Some of my thoughts on the Emmys.

This was before she became this in dead as we know now anyway, and they didn't want her to play the part because they felt she was too light skinned, which I thought was so f****** stupid, because I bet they would like to do a movie with her now is that Lifetime film like Bomb didn't really do s***. But anyway, that's just Besides the point. Just my thoughts on the Emmy winners
