This is truly a devastating blow for New Zealand as they handled this pandemic incredibly well, took it as seriously as possible with this news and the news that we're seeing of students in the US contracting the virus during their first week back, maybe it's time for many people to start taking this a little more seriously. Wow. I am so disappointed to see this, but it's amazing to see how quickly they are taking action to keep the virus contained as much as possible. It'll be really interesting to continue to follow this and see if they get back to having no known reported cases again or if it continues to spread. I think what's most concerning about this news right now is the fact that they do not have any idea where the virus and these folks currently originated

I'm glad you added that last part about updates, because the research is continuing and what I'm finding as I look for the answers is a bunch of crap. And this is what we're up against, the theories and the weird comments. It's devastating. I agree. And it's a great case study for us, all of us as global citizens to figure this out, because this is hopefully a lot of countries down the road

So I have an admin who works for me who lives in New Zealand. She lives in a small town in New Zealand, and she's been telling me about what's going on. And first things first is I've always been really incredibly impressed with how severely New Zealanders took this and how seriously and how committed to the same goal that the whole country was. Obviously, everyone has a few dissenters here and there, but really, you saw a lot of people pulling together to get this done

It's a really good reminder to us all of how interdependent we are and that we're not always aware, aware of the impact we might have on others. So thank you lots to think about there. And hopefully we'll all continue to report any updates we see in here in this conversation
