But as they were talking about it, I was like, oh, bland brands are what happens when brands continue to try to move towards what becomes popular, quote, unquote normal and a lot of what they end up saying and their mission statements. And when they're talking about what their product is about are words that really don't mean very much. So I thought that was really compelling

And I have a total empathy for what they're talking about. When it comes down to we could poke fun at the process. But the truth is, everybody who's selling anything these days wants to lean on the best practices of what's worked before

So I just thought it was really interesting and especially it's kind of an aside, but I think it's Jess, one of the hosts talks about Bajaus, which was that German art movement that combined the crafts and arts, which I think was founded in. Yeah, I'm looking right now and it sounded in 1919, which was right after World War One and then ceased operation before the start of World War II
