News: Texas judge rules against Republican led motion to toss out 127,000 votes

Hi, everyone. This is Taylor. With the Daily Swell. On Monday afternoon, a federal judge in Texas shot down a Republicanled motion to have nearly 1270 ballots from a Houston area polling station to tossed out. The County Clerk of Harris, Chris Collins, reassured voters that drive through polling will continue throughout Tuesday. In a statement following the hearing, Hollins reminded Texas voters that clear voter access is a constitutional right that will be protected

The judge went on to add that Texas law requires that ballots have to be cast in the building, and he was not sure a tent constituted a building and that these are ten drive through locations in Harris County. So he said that he wouldn't go vote in one of these if he wanted his vote to be counted. And this is going to play out all the way to the Supreme Court
