ICC issues arrest warrant for Vladimir Putin What does it mean? Any ICC experts?

article image placeholderICC judges issue arrest warrant for Putin over war crimes in Ukraine
From what I've read this morning, the crimes were related to allegations of forced deportations of children. Now, the Kremlin has responded that this was done, that children were taken, but it was done out of a humanitarian project for abandoned war traumatized orphans. Additionally, the Kremlin has come out and said that this is an outrageous and unacceptable act and that they, like a number of states, including the United States, do not recognize the jurisdiction of this court

I don’t think Putin cares at all about the ICC

They got themselves into this war, and we're supporting it, which means we're fighting a proxy war with Russia, which is possibly what they wanted to have done to begin with. And I'm not talking specifically about the people. People are getting caught up in a conflict that's been years in the making. This didn't come out of nowhere. Zelensky is a clown, and he says some stupid s***

How did the United States get into WW1?

Ford Motor Company sold trucks to the Germans and sold trucks to the Americans. Double dipping. So war crimes do happen, and it is wrong and nothing's going to get done about it. Actual war crimes very rarely, especially in a situation like that. And I'm not saying that Russia did or didn't like. Russia isn't or is not doing war crimes. It's war. Bad things happen. There's piles of books about how bad things happen

@daily 1. genocide 2.war crimes, or grave breaches of the laws of war (per Geneva Convention) 3. crimes against humanity 4. crimes of aggression

But it will, I suppose, spark a conversation specifically when it comes to the victims of propaganda, because a lot of they say, right, the first casualty of war is the truth. And too many Russians, it's very easy to say war is bad or war is cruel or they are wrong. When you've been fed the same line again and again with like, let's say manipulated evidence, the chances are you're going to believe the picture that is painted in front of you
