News: Tyson Foods receives another civil lawsuit after Columbus Junction employee, Pedro Cano, losses his life to COVID19
Connor's children assert that Tyson not only allowed employees to work without the proper PPE, such as masks or gloves, but that workers were, quote, elbow to elbow with one another for extended periods of time. The Iowa Occupational Safety and Health Administration later reported that 522 workers at the plant had contracted COVID-19. It is important to keep in mind that the town of Columbus Junction, Iowa, itself has a measly population of around 20 people
